    How to Use Kindle Unlimited

Read as many books as you want each month for one flat fee — like Netflix but for e-books.

    1

    Start a free trial

    ~15s
Go to amazon.com/kindleunlimited and click "Join Kindle Unlimited." New customers get a 30-day free trial. Pay with whatever card is on your Amazon account.
    2

    Find eligible books

    ~15s
When you search for a book on Amazon, look for the blue "Kindle Unlimited" logo under the price. Those books are free to borrow with your subscription.
    3

    Borrow and read

    ~15s
Click "Read for Free" on any Kindle Unlimited book. It sends the book to your Kindle, your Kindle app on a phone or tablet, or the Kindle Cloud Reader website.
    4

Return books you are done with

    ~15s
You can borrow up to 20 books at once. To free up a slot, go to amazon.com/mycd, find the book, and click "Return this book." You can re-borrow it later if you want to finish.
    5

    Cancel anytime

    ~15s
Go to amazon.com/kindleunlimited and click "Manage membership." You can pause for 1 to 3 months or cancel entirely. If you cancel, borrowed books disappear from your Kindle but your own purchases stay.

Kindle Unlimited is Amazon's $12/month all-you-can-read e-book service. You can borrow up to 20 books at a time from a catalog of around 4 million titles and switch them out as often as you like.

Not every book is included — bestsellers often are not. But there is plenty to read in almost every genre.
