How to Use Amazon Pharmacy for Prescriptions

Order prescriptions through Amazon Pharmacy for home delivery, often at lower prices than your local drug store.

    1

    Go to amazon.com/pharmacy

    ~15s
Sign in to your Amazon account on the website or the Amazon app. Click the menu and scroll to "Pharmacy" or go to amazon.com/pharmacy directly.
    2

    Add your profile and insurance

    ~15s
Click "Set up your pharmacy profile". Fill in your date of birth, any allergies, and your insurance card info if you have it. This is protected by the same rules as your regular pharmacy (HIPAA).
    3

Ask your doctor to send the prescription

    ~15s
Tell your doctor you want to use Amazon Pharmacy. Give them the name "Amazon Pharmacy" and they can send the prescription electronically — no paper needed.
    4

Review the price and pick shipping

    ~15s
When the prescription arrives at Amazon, you will get an email. Open the app, check the price (Amazon shows the insurance price and cash price side by side), and pick shipping.
    5

    Track delivery

    ~15s
Amazon ships the medication in a plain package with no pharmacy labels on the outside. Prime members get it in 2 days. Open the app any time to see where your package is.
