How to Track Your Investments with the Fidelity App

Check your 401(k), IRA, and brokerage balances and watch your investments grow with the free Fidelity mobile app.

    1

    Download the Fidelity app

    ~15s
Install the Fidelity Investments app from the App Store or Play Store. Open it and tap "Log In".
    2

    Sign in with your username

    ~15s
Type your Fidelity username and password. If you do not have an account yet, tap "Open an Account" to start the signup on your phone (takes about 10 minutes).
    3

Turn on Face ID or Touch ID

    ~15s
The app will ask if you want to use Face ID (iPhone) or a fingerprint (Android) for future logins. Tap Yes — this is faster and still secure.
    4

    Check your balances

    ~15s
The home screen shows every Fidelity account you have — 401(k), IRA, taxable brokerage, checking. Tap any account to see its balance, recent trades, and how it changed today.
    5

    Deposit checks or transfer money

    ~15s
Tap the "Deposit" icon to take photos of a check and deposit it instantly. Tap "Transfer" to move money between your Fidelity accounts, or from your bank to Fidelity.
