    How to Set Up Automatic Prescription Refills

    Sign up for auto-refills so your pharmacy restocks your prescription on schedule — no more calling to reorder.

    1. 1.Open your pharmacy's app or website
    2. 2.Go to your prescription list
    3. 3.Turn on auto-refill for each medication
    4. 4.Set how you want to be notified

    Open your pharmacy's app or website

    Download your pharmacy's app (CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc.) from the App Store or Play Store. Or go to their website and sign in with your account.

    Go to your prescription list

    Tap "Prescriptions" or "My Prescriptions" in the menu. You should see every current prescription you have at that pharmacy.

    Turn on auto-refill for each medication

    Tap the prescription you want on auto-refill. Look for a switch or button labeled "Auto-refill" or "Easy Refill" and turn it on. Repeat for each drug you want automatic.

    Set how you want to be notified

    Go to Account Settings or Notifications and pick text, email, or phone call. The pharmacy will notify you when each refill is ready for pickup.

    Check you will not run out

    Open the app in a couple of weeks and make sure the next refill date is before you will run out. If you travel, you can pause auto-refill temporarily from the same screen.
