    How to Order Food with DoorDash or Uber Eats

    Download the app and create an account

    Download DoorDash or Uber Eats from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app, enter your delivery address, and create an account with your email and a password. Both apps also let you sign up with a Google or Apple account.

    Browse restaurants near you

    The app will show restaurants that deliver to your address. You can filter by cuisine type, rating, delivery time, or price. Tap a restaurant to see its full menu with prices.

    Add items to your cart

    Tap any menu item to add it to your cart. Many items let you customize them — size, toppings, or special requests. When you are done, tap "View Cart" or the cart icon to review your order.

    Check out and pay

    Review your order and enter a tip for the driver (15 to 20 percent is standard). Add a promo code if you have one. Tap "Place Order" and confirm your payment. Both apps accept credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.

    Track your delivery

    After ordering, the app shows a map with your driver's location. You will get a notification when the driver picks up your order and when they are nearby. Check the estimated delivery time on the tracking screen.
