    How to Use the Kroger App for Digital Coupons and Fuel Points

    The Kroger app gives you digital coupons, weekly ad deals, pharmacy management, and fuel points — all through your phone. This guide shows you how to save money on every grocery trip.

    Download the app and sign in

    Search "Kroger" in the App Store or Google Play. Install the free app. Sign in with your Kroger Plus Card account (the loyalty card you swipe at checkout). If you do not have one, create a free account — it takes 2 minutes.

    Quick Tip

    Your Kroger Plus Card number is on your physical card or keychain tag. You can also sign in with your phone number if you registered it with your card.

    Clip digital coupons

    Tap "Savings" on the bottom of the app, then tap "Coupons." You will see hundreds of available digital coupons. Browse by category or use the search bar. Tap "Clip" on any coupon you want. Clipped coupons automatically apply when you purchase that item and use your Plus Card at checkout.

    Quick Tip: Tap "Clip All" at the top to clip every available coupon at once. You only save on items you actually buy, so clipping extras costs nothing.

    Check the weekly ad for deals

    Tap "Weekly Ad" to see the current week's sales. Items on sale are cheaper even without a coupon. If a sale item also has a digital coupon, you can save in two ways simultaneously. You can tap any weekly ad item to add it directly to your shopping list.

    Track and use fuel points

    Tap your profile icon to see your current fuel point balance. 100 points = $0.10 off per gallon (up to 35 gallons). Your fuel points reset at the end of each month, so use them before they expire. At Kroger Fuel Centers and participating Shell stations, enter your Plus Card number or phone number at the pump to apply your discount.

    Buying Kroger gift cards for stores you already shop at (Amazon, restaurants, etc.) earns double or 4× fuel points on the gift card value.

    Manage prescriptions

    Tap "Pharmacy" in the app to see your prescriptions, refill upcoming medications, check if a prescription is ready, and transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy. You can also set up automatic refill reminders. When a prescription is ready, the app notifies you.

    Kroger is one of the largest grocery chains in the US, and its free app is packed with money-saving features. The biggest one: digital coupons that you clip once and automatically apply at checkout — no paper cutting required.

    Kroger's digital coupons can save you anywhere from $0.25 on cereal to $5 on meat or $2 off a household product. Many weeks, shoppers save $15–$30 just from digital coupons on items they already buy.

    The app also tracks your Kroger Plus Card fuel points. Every $1 spent on groceries earns 1 fuel point. Every 100 fuel points = $0.10 off per gallon at Kroger/Fuel Center or Shell stations.
